Cooley's Intellectual Property Litigation practice ranked 9th overall for total number of federal patent case representations and 10th for total number of patent defense cases in the 2011 edition of Corporate Counsel's "Patent Litigation Survey." The firm experienced an 11% increase from the previous year in the total number of patent case representations (49), while remaining in the top 10 for total number of patent defense cases with 37 matters.
